Job Description
**Job Title:** International Accounts Manager – Region West **Role Summary:** Lead acquisition (≈20%) and growth/maintenance (≈80%) of International Accounts within the West region. Drive sales strategy, build multi‑level relationships, and coordinate with National Account Managers and dealers to increase market share and penetration across EMEA and beyond. Provide accurate forecasting, reporting, and support for global account initiatives while traveling extensively (≈80%). **Expectations:** - Achieve regional sales targets and budget objectives. - Expand market position and customer share for assigned accounts. - Deliver comprehensive customer intelligence and seize all opportunity gaps. - Ensure timely, accurate data entry and reporting in CRM (C360). - Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, marketing, service, and dealer networks. - Maintain high travel availability for customer visits and project work. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage and develop International Accounts; devise and execute account‑specific sales strategies. - Identify accounts for management vs. penetration and oversee corresponding activities. - Build and sustain multi‑level relationships within accounts; engage local sales teams to align efforts. - Compile detailed customer intelligence; address all sales opportunities. - Establish and communicate annual regional sales budget; monitor performance against plan. - Coordinate global account growth, implement frame agreements, and capture EMEA and non‑EMEA opportunities. - Generate accurate sales forecasts, discount analyses, and performance reports via CRM. - Monitor National Account Managers’ performance; provide coaching and corrective actions as needed. - Share relevant information with internal stakeholders (branch, service, dealer ops, product marketing, etc.) to ensure coordinated support. - Foster a collaborative, performance‑driven team environment. - Undertake ad‑hoc projects and other duties as assigned. **Required Skills:** - Proven international account management and business development experience. - Strong sales strategy formulation and execution. - Excellent relationship‑building and multi‑stakeholder communication. - Analytical mindset with proficiency in CRM systems (C360 or similar) and sales forecasting. - Budget planning and financial acumen. - Negotiation and discount decision support. - High degree of self‑motivation, adaptability, and teamwork. - Ability to travel extensively (≈80% of time). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Minimum 5 years of experience in international B2B account management, preferably within material handling, industrial equipment, or similar sectors. - No specific certifications required; industry‑specific training considered a plus.
