Job Title: Floor Manager & Production Assistant Role Summary: Manage studio floor operations for two concurrent production sets, ensuring seamless execution of shooting schedules. Support creative teams by coordinating set‑up, equipment moves, and talent logistics, while maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Expactations: - Work exclusively on Saturdays as a freelance contractor or via umbrella company. - Deliver punctual, high‑quality floor management and production assistance across two studios. - Anticipate and mitigate production delays, maintaining workflow momentum. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and supervise physical set‑up and strike for product displays in two studios. - Utilize daily schedules and visual merchandising sheets to achieve precise styling and placement. - Coordinate with Studio Manager, Vision Mixers, and crew to keep the day on track. - Oversee props, accessories, and packaging, ensuring proper storage and return. - Identify potential bottlenecks and elevate issues proactively. - Maintain studio safety, cleanliness, and operational smoothness. - Provide general administrative support: paperwork, scheduling, call sheets, and departmental communication. - Execute errands, pick up supplies, and transport equipment as needed. Required Skills: - Experience in live studio or multi‑camera production environments. - Strong time‑management, organizational, and multi‑tasking abilities. - Ability to follow brand‑led visual merchandising instructions accurately. - Calm under pressure with proactive problem‑solving. - Prior role as Floor Manager, 1st AD, Stage Manager, or Production Assistant in fast‑paced filming contexts. Required Education & Certifications: - Relevant qualifications in film/television production, studio operations, or related fields are preferred. - Any industry certifications or training in studio safety, equipment handling, or project coordination are advantageous.
