Job Title: Head of Business Development – North America Role Summary: Senior executive responsible for crafting, implementing, and driving North American business development strategy, fostering partnerships, managing key accounts, and ensuring sustainable revenue growth. Expectations: - Meet or exceed revenue and market‑share targets. - Expand strategic footprint and identify high‑value opportunities. - Influence cross‑functional collaboration to align with corporate goals. - Maintain up‑to‑date market intelligence and anticipate industry trends. Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop and execute a comprehensive North American BD roadmap aligned with corporate strategy. 2. Identify, evaluate, and secure new partnerships and business opportunities. 3. Lead pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting to executive leadership. 4. Manage and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulators. 5. Collaborate with Sales, Product, Finance, and Operations to enable go‑to‑market initiatives. 6. Analyze market data to derive actionable insights and adjust strategies accordingly. 7. Mentor and lead a high‑performance BD team, setting clear performance metrics. 8. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies. 9. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings. Required Skills: - Strategic planning & execution in business development. - Partnership & alliance development. - Strong analytical and data‑driven decision making. - Account management and pipeline oversight. - Negotiation and closing skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Leadership, team management, and cross‑functional collaboration. - Adaptability in fast‑paced, dynamic environments. - Knowledge of financial services and technology sectors. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field (MBA strongly preferred). - Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Certified Business Development Professional, Certified Sales Leader) are an advantage.
