Job Description
Job Title: T2D Network Coordinator Role Summary: Coordinate project planning, communication, marketing, events, and partner engagement to advance a community diabetes network’s prevention, self‑management, and remission initiatives. Manage a portfolio of projects, monitor milestones, support reporting, and contribute to grant applications. Expectations: Deliver project milestones on schedule, maintain budgets, uphold confidentiality, collaborate with stakeholders, provide proactive risk mitigation, and demonstrate integrity and initiative. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, execute, and monitor a portfolio of projects with the director and team. - Track activities and deadlines using project management tools, ensuring milestone completion. - Facilitate communication flow and engagement with internal and external partners. - Identify risks early and develop problem‑solving solutions. - Orchestrate meetings and interactions with stakeholders. - Collaborate with subject‑matter experts on marketing strategies, including pod/vodcast production and social media. - Facilitate partnerships with patient groups, healthcare professionals, and government administrators. - Plan and coordinate events (conferences, public sessions) as participant or facilitator. - Manage project‑level budgets and financial constraints. - Meet deadlines, propose mitigation strategies for timeline challenges. - Prepare clear project reports for the director, CEO, and board. - Write and support grant funding applications. - Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes and SOPs. Required Skills: - Proficiency in project management principles and tools. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Strong analytical and detail‑oriented mindset. - Team collaboration and initiative. - Problem‑solving and systems thinking. - High integrity, discretion, and reliability. - Ability to manage confidential information. - Microsoft Office Suite proficiency. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Management, Communications, Health Sciences, or related field. - Minimum 3 years progressive experience coordinating projects. - Understanding of project management principles. - PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred. - Master’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
