Vice President of User Experience
**Role Summary**
Lead the transformation and scaling of a modern UX organization from low maturity to strategic leadership, integrating AI-driven experience capabilities across a complex product ecosystem while ensuring ethical, responsible use of AI in healthcare contexts.
**Expectations**

**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Organizational & Cultural Transformation** – establish a strategic, user‑centered UX practice; promote outcome‑driven, research‑ and AI‑insight‑driven teams; define experience vision.
2. **Leadership Development & Team Growth** – develop directors, managers, and senior ICs into strategic leaders; create talent strategy, leveling frameworks, and mentorship programs; scale a leadership pipeline.
3. **Foundational Capability Building & Research Integration** – mature UX processes (discovery, research, accessibility, design reviews); set up Design Ops with AI‑enabled tools; launch research program with qualitative, behavioral, and AI‑generated insights; inform roadmap.
4. **Design System Ownership & Multi‑Platform Scaling** – create and govern a unified design system for web, mobile, and emerging surfaces; ensure AI‑driven interactions and adaptive interfaces; partner with engineering for tokens, code integration, governance, and release cycles.
5. **AI‑Enhanced Experience Strategy & Cross‑Functional Execution** – define AI‑assisted, predictive, automated UX strategy; identify AI opportunities to reduce clinician cognitive burden; embed AI patterns ethically; collaborate with product, engineering, and data science.
**Required Skills**
* 12+ years in senior UX or product design roles, including transformation of low‑maturity organizations.
* Proven track record of developing managers, directors, and senior ICs into leaders.
* Expertise in multi‑platform enterprise design systems and scalable Design Ops.
* Hands‑on experience designing AI‑enabled experiences and responsibly integrating AI.
* Strong knowledge of modern UX research, data‑driven design, accessibility, workflow optimization, and strategy.
* Cross‑functional leadership with product, engineering, and data science.
**Required Education & Certifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Human‑Computer Interaction, Design, Behavioral Science, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
* Certifications in UX Design, Design Systems, or Design Operations are advantageous.
