Job Description
Job title: Human Resources Coordinator Role Summary: Supports daily HR operations, onboarding/offboarding, recordkeeping, and compliance for a growing investment management firm. Works cross‑functionally to document and refine HR processes, manage data within HR systems, and assist with benefits and international onboarding initiatives. Expectations: - Operate as a reliable administrative partner in a fast‑paced, evolving environment. - Handle confidential employee information with utmost discretion. - Demonstrate adaptability and proactive improvement of workflows. - Maintain high accuracy in data entry, documentation, and reporting. Key Responsibilities: - Provide day‑to‑day HR administrative support: onboarding, offboarding, recordkeeping, and compliance activities. - Coordinate interview scheduling and recruiting logistics. - Prepare, maintain, audit HR documentation, employee files, trackers, and checklists. - Assist with I‑9 preparation and file reviews to ensure compliance. - Partner with HR to support initiatives across the employee lifecycle. - Document new and evolving HR processes; track timelines, action items, and milestones. - Evaluate workflows, identify opportunities for operational improvement, and contribute to projects. - Build and maintain trackers, reports, and operational tools using Excel; ensure accurate data input into HR systems. - Support centralization of HR resources and collaborate with Finance and other internal teams. - Provide support to HR initiatives related to benefits and international onboarding. Required Skills: - 3–5 years of HR experience with a blend of HR coordinator and junior HR generalist duties. - Strong foundation in onboarding/offboarding, compliance, and recordkeeping. - Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. - Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis). - Ability to manage confidential information responsibly. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work in a fast‑paced environment. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree (strongly preferred). - No specific certifications required, but knowledge of relevant HR laws and HRIS systems is an advantage.
