**Job title:** IT Support Specialist
**Role Summary:** Provide first‑line technical support for employees, ensuring reliable operation of computer systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure. Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and internal tools, monitor performance and security, and document solutions.
**Expactations:** Deliver timely, professional support for all IT-related issues; maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of operating systems, network protocols, and cloud services; collaborate with vendors and internal teams; contribute to continuous improvement of IT processes and documentation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Respond to help‑desk tickets and calls for hardware, software, and network assistance.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot PCs, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Set up, maintain, and optimize LAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN and other network services.
- Monitor system performance, security alerts, and perform routine checks.
- Escalate unresolved problems to appropriate teams or external vendors.
- Document incidents, work‑arounds, and resolved issues in the knowledge base.
- Support internal IT systems, including AI tools and automation platforms.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on system usage and best practices.
**Required Skills:**
- 3+ years of IT support experience with hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
- Proficient with Windows, Linux, macOS; networking (LAN, VPN, Wi‑Fi).
- Familiarity with cloud services (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, AWS, Azure).
- Experience with remote desktop tools, IT asset management, and documentation.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and system monitoring.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication for user support.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- College diploma or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+) preferred but not mandatory.
