Job Description
Job Title: Events & Marketing Executive Role Summary: Responsible for planning, executing, and managing both physical and virtual events while producing marketing collateral that supports client acquisition and retention. Collaborates with internal teams, external vendors, and clients to deliver events that enhance brand visibility and engagement across the professional investment market. Expectations: - Deliver high‑quality events and marketing activities that meet deadlines and budget constraints. - Foster strong relationships with clients, fund managers, suppliers, and cross‑functional stakeholders. - Maintain consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels. - Demonstrate self‑motivation, initiative, and a continuous improvement mindset. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and coordinate in‑person and virtual events (including travel, lodging, itineraries, and logistics). - Develop event marketing strategies and coordinate with sales, compliance, and creative teams. - Create, schedule, and automate event invitations and follow‑up communications. - Manage attendee registrations, agendas, and event data in Salesforce CRM. - Update event-related content on the company website and generate social media posts. - Conduct competitor research and evaluate new event and marketing opportunities. - Liaise with financial compliance to review and approve marketing materials. - Support the wider events & marketing team on ad‑hoc projects as needed. Required Skills: - Strong written and verbal communication. - Excellent organisational and project‑management abilities with keen attention to detail. - Proficiency in event‑management platforms (e.g., ON24) and email‑automation tools. - Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace suite. - Ability to work independently and manage own workload in a fast‑paced environment. - Sound understanding of the financial services industry and related regulatory considerations. Required Education & Certifications: - Minimum second‑class bachelor’s degree (or equivalent). - No mandatory certifications required; knowledge of event‑management or marketing courses is an asset.
