Job Description
Job title: Sales Assistant Retail Role Summary: Support the commercial success of retail products by managing product information, sales operations, and customer relationships. Ensure accurate data in SAP, coordinate product launches, oversee product lifecycle and inventory, process sales administration, and maintain communication across departments and with key customers. Expactations: - Accurate, efficient, rigorous, and well‑organized. - Autonomous with a strong customer‑oriented mindset. - Excellent interpersonal skills, enjoys problem‑solving. - Process‑oriented with strong analytical abilities. - Team player with a hands‑on approach. Key Responsibilities: - Keep customer records correct in SAP systems. - Coordinate new product launches, managing required data in customer systems. - Oversee product life cycle, monitor inventory, and support accurate sales reporting. - Process all commercial administrative tasks accurately. - Communicate with Product Management, Customer Service, Planning, Quality, and Plants; report to KAM/Sales Manager. - Build strong relationships with customers, handle tender documents, inform about product changes, availability, promotions, and price updates. - Manage customer complaints in collaboration with product and quality managers. - Update and follow up on contractual documents and customer statistics. Required Skills: - Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar sales or commercial role. - Fluency in Dutch and English; French is a plus. - Strong IT skills, including advanced MS Office (especially Excel). - Autonomous, customer‑centric, with excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities. - Process‑oriented, analytical, and a collaborative team player.
