To reinforce our Sales team we are looking for a Sales Assistant Retail.

As the Sales Assistant Retail, you will play a key role in supporting the commercial success of our products and services. You will manage product information, administrative processes, and tools that ensure smooth and efficient sales operations.

You will work closely with internal departments and customers to maintain accurate data, coordinate product launches, and facilitate seamless communication across teams.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

Ensure customer records are correct in our SAP systems
Coordinate new product launches with customers, managing required data in their systems
Oversee the product life cycle, monitor inventory, and enable accurate sales reporting
Process all commercial administrative tasks accurately
Communicate internally with various departments such as Product Management, Customer Service, Planning, Quality, and Plants, and report to the KAM/Sales Manager
Develop strong relationships with customers, handle tender documents, inform about product changes and availability, follow up on promotions, and update prices
Manage customer complaints in collaboration with product and quality managers to ensure effective resolution
Update and follow up on contractual documents and customer statistics

Job Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
Accurate, efficient, rigorous, and well-organized
Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus
Strong IT skills, including MS Office tools (especially Excel)
Autonomous with a strong customer-oriented mindset
Excellent interpersonal skills and enjoys solving problems
Process-oriented with strong analytical skills
Team player with a hands-on approach
