**Job Title:** Head of AI Engineering **Role Summary:** Full‑time, remote leadership role overseeing AI engineering enablement across the organization. Reports directly to the CEO, functions as a Staff+ individual contributor, and drives applied AI research, team skill elevation, and client‑value opportunities to support a client‑centric engineering service. **Expectations:** - Demonstrated experience leading Staff+ level AI or engineering teams in a remote setting. - Proven track record of shipping production‑grade code across the full stack (frontend, mobile, backend). - Strong communicator capable of articulating complex AI concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. - Willingness to travel for client engagements and industry events. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. *Applied AI Research* – Monitor AI trends impacting software delivery, evaluate new tooling (IDEs, copilots, agents, evaluation frameworks), and define internal adoption strategies. 2. *Team Enablement* – Deliver hands‑on training, pair‑programming, workshops, and reusable resources (templates, checklists, guardrails) to elevate partner engineering capabilities. 3. *Client Value & Product Discovery* – Identify AI‑driven augmentation opportunities, develop audit playbooks, onboard acceleration solutions, and package services into marketable offerings. **Required Skills:** - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Remote leadership experience at Staff+ level. - Full‑stack development expertise: - Frontend/Mobile: TypeScript (React), SwiftUI, Kotlin. - Backend: TypeScript (Node), Python. - DevOps and infrastructure: CI/CD, Terraform, AWS. - Practical AI engineering: deployment of models using tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex; experience with model performance, reliability, latency, and cost optimization. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Terraform Associate) preferred but not mandatory.
