Job Description
**Job Title:** Senior Solution Engineer **Role Summary:** Pre‑sales technical leader who partners with Account Executives, Product, and Engineering to position SaaS scheduling solutions in mid‑market and enterprise environments. Translates complex product capabilities into business outcomes, designs proofs of concept, and removes technical barriers to accelerate deal closure. **Expectations:** - Increase win rates and speed of technical evaluations in qualified opportunities. - Deliver reusable solution assets and patterns for future sales cycles. - Provide actionable, revenue‑focused feedback to Product/Engineering. - Enable sales teams to independently articulate integration value. - Demonstrate measurable revenue impact on supported deals. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with AEs to capture requirements and define technical win strategies. - Conduct discovery sessions and deliver solution demos tailored to business outcomes. - Design and build proofs of concept, integrations, or lightweight custom solutions. - Translate integration, security, and ecosystem considerations for technical and executive audiences. - Work with Product and Engineering on customer‑specific builds, influencing scope and timelines. - Create and maintain reusable solution patterns and documentation. - Consolidate recurring customer needs and communicate them to product teams. - Support multi‑stakeholder, procurement‑intensive sales cycles and formal technical evaluations. **Required Skills:** - Strong foundation in APIs, data flows, and system integrations. - Hands‑on experience building prototypes or technical validations quickly. - Proven B2B SaaS pre‑sales or solution engineering experience. - Commercial acumen with ability to link technical decisions to deal outcomes. - Excellent communication with both technical audiences and senior business leaders. - Familiarity with workforce‑intensive sectors (hospitality, retail, healthcare) – preferred. - Experience integrating with POS systems, HR/payroll platforms, identity providers (AD/SSO), and BI/reporting tools. - Knowledge of modern automation or AI‑assisted tooling for solution design. - High ownership, autonomy, and outcome‑focused mindset. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). - Relevant technical certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, integration platforms) are a plus but not mandatory.
