Solutions Architect – Salesforce
**Role Summary**
Design, architect, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions for a diverse client base. Lead all lifecycle phases—discovery, design, build, test, training, data migration, and deployment—while ensuring alignment to business outcomes, project scope, and security standards. Serve as a technical mentor, stakeholder liaison, and contributor to business development.

**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Project Lifecycle Management** – Own discovery, design, build, test, training, data migration, and deployment activities.
2. **Discovery & Analysis** – Facilitate sessions that combine Salesforce product knowledge with client business goals. Decompose complex business information into scalable solution designs.
3. **Solution Design & Presentation** – Create and present architecture diagrams, data models, integration flows, and security frameworks, emphasizing trade‑offs and business value.
4. **Implementation Review** – Monitor build progress to ensure fidelity to design, scope, and security models. Provide guidance and troubleshoot issues.
5. **Risk Management** – Identify technical, scope, and effort risks; develop mitigation plans and report to leadership.
6. **Stakeholder Communication** – Tailor solution, risk, and status updates for diverse audiences, including technical teams, business users, and executives.
7. **Client Relationship Building** – Establish trust with key client stakeholders; convey solution vision and value.
8. **Business Development Support** – Participate in sales calls, draft solution outlines, estimate effort, and contribute to proposal content.
9. **Thought Leadership** – Produce technical content, lead presentations, and contribute to the broader Salesforce community.
**Required Skills**
- Deep understanding of Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.) and its architecture, security, and integration patterns.
- Consulting experience: ability to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Strong facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Proficiency in data modeling, integration design, and solution implementation best practices.
- Risk identification and mitigation.
- Ability to mentor and review peers.
- High proficiency in written communication; technical writing for architecture documents.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field.
- 7+ years of practicing Salesforce development/administration, with at least 5 years in a consulting environment.
- Salesforce Architect track certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Data Architecture & Management Designer, Integration Architecture Designer) or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe.
