**Job Title**: Sales Executive – Business Development (First Sales) **Role Summary** Lead the commercial launch of a SaaS AI agent for the energy sector, driving revenue growth, establishing sales processes, and shaping go‑to‑market strategy while collaborating directly with founders. **Expectations** * Drive 70 % of sales revenue; generate outbound leads and close full‑cycle deals * Build scalable, repeatable sales workflows and funnel stages * Prioritise and enter new B2B segments (SMEs, EPCs, design offices) * Translate field insights into product roadmap feedback and strategic positioning **Key Responsibilities** 1. Prospect outbound, identify key decision makers, and convert leads into signed contracts. 2. Create and refine sales playbooks, pricing models, tracking metrics, and CRM usage. 3. Define and prioritise target markets, use cases, and buyer personas. 4. Deliver structured client feedback to product and guide iteration of go‑to‑market plans. 5. Report progress to founders and support scaling initiatives (team building, regional expansion). **Required Skills** * 2–4 years of proven sales experience in a startup or scale‑up, handling complex, multi‑stakeholder deals. * Strong outbound prospecting, closing, and negotiation abilities. * Deep interest in technology and/or the energy sector (especially solar/renewables). * Self‑starter: autonomous, organised, resourceful, comfortable building processes from scratch. * Comfortable with rapid, evolving environments and high expectations. **Bonus / Additional Skills** * Experience selling B2B SaaS. * Background with industrial SMEs or ETIs. * Network within energy, photovoltaics, or renewables industry. **Required Education & Certifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field (minimum). * No specific certifications required.
