Job Description
Job Title: Travel Sales Consultant Role Summary: Engage clients to understand travel goals, design and finalize bespoke holiday packages for destinations in the Nordics, Baltics, Balkans, and wider Europe, and manage the complete booking, payment, and travel delivery process while ensuring exceptional customer service. Expactations: - Meet and exceed client expectations by delivering tailored itineraries. - Close bookings and achieve sales targets regularly. - Process payments, confirm reservations, and handle changes or cancellations promptly. - Resolve client inquiries efficiently, ensuring a seamless travel experience. - Maintain accurate customer records and follow up on sales opportunities. Key Responsibilities: - Consult with clients to assess travel needs and preferences. - Create detailed itineraries, including accommodation, transport, and activities. - Quote and close sales, handling all booking confirmations and documentation. - Process payments, issue receipts, and manage invoicing with travel partners. - Liaise with airlines, hotels, tours, and local suppliers to secure best options and rates. - Provide destination expertise and up‑to‑date travel information. - Resolve customer complaints and queries, ensuring high satisfaction levels. - Enter and update client data in the CRM and maintain accurate sales pipeline records. - Collaborate with internal teams and remote collaborators to support seamless service delivery. Required Skills: - Excellent verbal and written communication. - Strong consultative selling and closing skills. - Detail‑oriented itinerary planning and research capability. - Organizational and time‑management proficiency. - Knowledge of Baltic, Nordic, Balkan, or other European travel markets. - Proficiency using travel booking systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Skyscanner) and standard office software. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in hybrid environments. Required Education & Certifications: - Diploma or degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Travel & Tourism, or a related field (preferred). - Industry certifications such as CPT, CTA, TCCA, or customer‑service training (preferred).
