Job Description
**Job Title:** Sales Development Representative **Role Summary:** Drive revenue growth by prospecting and qualifying mid‑market and enterprise IT customers in Canada and the U.S. for an IT consulting and managed services firm. Conduct outbound outreach (LinkedIn, email, phone) to senior IT decision‑makers, identify their challenges, and book high‑quality discovery meetings for outside sales representatives. **Expectations:** - Consistently meet or exceed lead‑generation and meeting‑booking targets. - Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date activity and pipeline data in the CRM. - Provide weekly and monthly performance reports to sales leadership. **Key Responsibilities:** - Execute outbound outreach to assigned prospects across Canadian and U.S. mid‑market and enterprise segments. - Target CIOs, CISOs, IT Directors, and Infrastructure Managers to uncover pain points and qualification criteria. - Schedule and confirm discovery meetings for outside sales representatives. - Maintain rigorous CRM data hygiene, recording outreach activity, prospect status, and pipeline progression. - Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and technical teams to refine messaging, account targeting, and campaign strategies. - Track and report outreach performance metrics (e.g., calls, emails, meetings booked, conversion rates). **Required Skills:** - Excellent verbal and written communication in English (French desirable). - Proven outbound lead‑generation and sales prospecting experience. - Proficiency with sales engagement tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Outreach.io. - Strong CRM usage (e.g., Salesforce) and data entry accuracy. - Knowledge of, or strong interest in, IT and technology solutions, including Microsoft products and cybersecurity. - Ability to work independently in a 100% office environment while managing multiple priorities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (equivalent experience accepted). - 2–4 years of sales experience, preferably in technology or IT services. - On‑the‑job training provided; no additional certifications required.
