Job Description
Job Title: Intern – Sales & Operations Role Summary: Support the Sales & Operations team by managing end‑to‑end logistics, coordinating production and delivery, optimizing processes, and maintaining client relationships. Operate in a fast‑growing, sustainability‑focused foodtech environment. Expectations: - Complete a final‑year internship (Bac+5 level) with a strong academic background. - Demonstrate passion for food technology and environmental sustainability. - Bring at least a foundational understanding of supply chain or agro‑food operations. - Exhibit high organizational and planning capacity, proactive problem solving, and independent initiative. - Communicate effectively in English (professional proficiency required). Key Responsibilities: - Receive and process customer orders following industry best practices. - Coordinate shipments, manage transport partners, and track logistics flows. - Place supply orders with subcontractors and raw‑material vendors; monitor delivery schedules. - Track production calendars, manage inventory of finished goods, raw materials, and consumables. - Implement and monitor logistics KPIs (quality, cost, lead time). - Lead continuous‑improvement projects: source new packaging/material suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms, and evaluate supply‑chain risks. - Optimize and document industrial/logistics tools and procedures in collaboration with production, packaging, and delivery partners. - Establish performance dashboards for industrial operations. - Verify client receipt of products, resolve delivery issues, and create tools to enhance customer relationship management. Required Skills: - Logistics and supply‑chain management fundamentals. - Project management and process‑improvement (Lean/Kaizen) experience. - Proficient with data analysis and KPI reporting. - Strong negotiation and stakeholder‑management capabilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication in English; French language skills are a plus. - Self‑directed, adaptable, and able to work collaboratively in a small‑team environment. Required Education & Certifications: - Currently enrolled in a Master’s program (Bac+5) in engineering, business, or related field; eligible for a final‑year internship. - No specific certifications required; professional English proficiency is essential.
