Job Title: Front End Web Developer
Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain user‑facing website components, primarily on WordPress. Ensure responsive, secure, and compliant web solutions that meet business, marketing, and regulatory standards.
Expactations: Deliver functional, high‑quality WordPress sites with optimal performance and security. Collaborate across IT, marketing, QA, and business teams to translate requirements into effective front‑end solutions. Uphold SOPs, documentation, and testing protocols in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and page layouts.
- Build responsive, user‑friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Work with page builders, plugins, and PHP for WordPress customization.
- Optimize site performance, navigation, and SEO fundamentals.
- Apply security best practices: updates, access control, vulnerability mitigation.
- Troubleshoot front‑end, theme, and plugin issues.
- Coordinate hosting environments, DNS, SSL, deployment, and backups with IT.
- Maintain detailed documentation for website changes and configurations.
- Participate in testing, QA, and approval processes for site updates.
Required Skills:
- Strong WordPress development experience (themes, plugins, page builders).
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive design.
- Basic PHP knowledge for WordPress customization.
- Familiarity with hosting, DNS, SSL, and deployment workflows.
- Understanding of website security, performance optimization, and SEO basics.
