Job Description
Job Title: Business Analyst Role Summary: Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into functional requirements, manage product backlog, and validate solutions through UAT. Provide documentation, defect analysis, and process improvement recommendations in a fast‑paced environment. Expactations: • 2+ years of business analysis or equivalent experience. • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Proven experience in healthcare, insurance, claims, or personal injury litigation. • Strong background with Jira, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum methodology; Power BI and SQL preferred. Key Responsibilities: • Gather and document business and functional requirements; produce Epics, Features, and User Stories. • Prioritize and refine product backlog in partnership with Product Managers. • Conduct user acceptance testing and validate delivered features against requirements. • Manage incoming defect tickets in Jira Service Desk; write detailed reproduction steps, screenshots, and videos. • Coordinate with IT to resolve defects, ensuring SLA compliance, and communicate status to stakeholders. • Identify recurring issues, propose process or system improvements, and implement change readiness activities. Required Skills: • Agile/Scrum knowledge and participation in ceremonies. • Excellent written and verbal communication; clear documentation skills. • Analytical and problem‑solving abilities with strong attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, high‑speed environment. • Experience with UAT testing, defect management, or enhancement documentation.
