Job Description: Job Title: Junior Talend Developer Role Summary: Remote Junior Talend Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Talend ETL jobs that integrate data between enterprise systems and SaaS platforms, with a focus on procurement processes. Expactations: Deliver high‑quality Talend jobs on schedule, troubleshoot integration issues, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet data integration requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Design, code, test, and deploy Talend ETL jobs using components such as tMap, tXMLMap, tJoin, tFilterRow, tAggregateRow, tSortRow, tRunJob, and file/database connectors. - Consume and expose RESTful web services, integrating external APIs into Talend jobs. - Write and optimize SQL queries for database interactions. - Monitor job performance, troubleshoot failures, and provide production support. - Document job logic, data flows, and integration specifications. - Collaborate with business analysts and procurement stakeholders to understand P2P, invoicing, and supplier data requirements. - Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices for maintainable ETL solutions. Required Skills: - 1–4 years of hands‑on Talend experience. - Proficiency with Talend components (tMap, tXMLMap, tJoin, tFilterRow, tAggregateRow, tSortRow, tRunJob, file/database components). - Experience with REST APIs and RESTful web services. - Strong understanding of data integration concepts. - Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL. - Good verbal and written communication skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent. - Talend certification (preferred).
