Job Description: **Job Title:** Lead Machine Learning Engineer **Role Summary:** Lead the design, development, and deployment of ML-driven components for a conversational, multimodal interface. Own architecture decisions, model evaluation, and production pipelines while guiding cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, low‑latency user‑facing experiences. **Expactations:** - Define technical vision and trade‑offs for ML products. - Deliver production‑grade models and infrastructure at scale. - Mentor and coordinate multidisciplinary engineers and designers. **Key Responsibilities:** - Architect and steer ML strategy for agentic control, conversational interaction, and information retrieval. - Design, implement, and iterate on user‑facing model experiences. - Build and maintain rapid development, evaluation, and deployment pipelines. - Optimize inference for latency, reliability, and concurrency. - Collaborate with ML/AI engineers, infrastructure teams, designers, and leadership on current and future product roadmaps. **Required Skills:** - 6+ years of professional machine‑learning experience. - Proven track record shipping ML‑based products. - Expertise in large‑language model evaluation and post‑training. - Strong software engineering skills; ability to write production‑grade code. - Experience with audio/voice ML (preferred). - Deep interest in human‑computer interaction and agentic systems. - Demonstrated ability to set technical direction and lead multidisciplinary teams. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related field (Master’s or PhD preferred). - No specific certifications required; relevant coursework or research in ML, NLP, or speech processing is advantageous.
