Job Description
**Job Title** Japanese Speaking Developer Support Engineer **Role Summary** Provide high‑quality technical support to partner developers via ticketing systems, ensure timely issue resolution, and maintain operational readiness. Collaborate with senior readiness, DevNet, and DTG teams, contribute to knowledge bases, and support developer communications and events. **Expectations** - Deliver accurate, prompt responses to support tickets. - Follow and enforce all Standard Operating Procedures across access, hardware, release, and events operations. - Master company‑specific software and internal tools quickly. - Communicate fluently in written and spoken Japanese. - Manage multiple concurrent projects using proven project‑management practices. - Contribute to metrics tracking and continuous service‑quality improvement. **Key Responsibilities** - Handle partner inquiries through DevNet and Help Center ticketing platforms. - Work with senior readiness team to execute operational readiness plans for partner deliverables. - Implement SOPs for Access & Account, Hardware, Support, Release, and Events operations. - Create and maintain support knowledge base articles and workflow documentation. - Produce developer communications (news articles, bulletins, forum posts) and assist at technical conferences and events. - Coordinate with DevNet application development teams and DTG management to monitor performance metrics and drive service enhancements. **Required Skills** - Fluent Japanese (written and spoken). - Strong troubleshooting and application‑issue diagnosis abilities. - Experience with Jira administration (workflow configuration, project settings, portfolio setup). - Ability to manage delivery of multiple projects using standard project‑management principles. - Proficiency in scripting/markup languages: Python, JavaScript, HTML5. - Understanding of C/C++ and contemporary source‑control systems (SVN, Git, Perforce). - Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routing). - Advanced proficiency with MS Office and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. - Project Management Certification (preferred).
