Job title: Social Media Associate Role Summary: Own and execute the organic social media strategy across TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms, creating and curating high‑impact, brand‑aligned content that drives follower growth, engagement, and community loyalty. Expactations: 3‑5 years of proven organic social media management for a consumer brand, with demonstrable success on TikTok and Instagram. Ability to produce and edit short‑form video, track analytics, and iterate strategy in a fast‑paced, seasonal environment. Strong communication, organization, and multi‑project management skills. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, maintain, and execute a consistent organic content calendar for TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms. - Film, edit, photograph, and produce social‑first content, including short‑form video, carousel posts, reels, and stories. - Draft engaging captions, schedule posts, and ensure adherence to platform best practices. - Identify and activate cultural moments, trends, and viral opportunities in real time. - Engage daily with audience, respond to comments and DMs, fostering a warm, loyal community. - Track performance metrics, compile weekly/monthly reports, and provide insights for optimization. - Collaborate cross‑functionally with brand, product, and creative teams for launches, storytelling, and promotional campaigns. - Update creative assets on secondary channels (Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn) as needed. Required Skills: - Expertise in TikTok and Instagram organic strategy, trend analysis, and community building. - Proficiency in video shooting, editing (e.g., Final Cut, Premiere, CapCut, Adobe Suite), and photography. - Strong aesthetic judgment aligned with handcrafted, creative brand identity. - Analytical mindset to interpret data and refine tactics. - Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, and time‑management. - Self‑starter with the ability to thrive remotely and manage multiple initiatives. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Marketing, Communications, or related field). - No specific certifications required, but familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., TikTok Analytics, Instagram Insights, Sprout Social) is a plus.
