Solutions Engineer – UK
**Role Summary**
Serve as the technical bridge between a software supply‑chain security platform and enterprise customers in regulated sectors (DoD, federal agencies, financial services, healthcare). Deliver deep technical expertise in cloud‑native security, containerization, and compliance while partnering with sales to advance complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles.
**Expectations**
- 7+ years in solutions, sales or pre‑sales engineering for startup or mid‑market environments.
- Proven ability to translate technical features into business outcomes and ROI.
- Fluency in structured sales methodologies (MEDDPICC, Command of the Message, etc.).
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and written communication skills.
- Self‑motivated, adaptable, and capable of managing a pipeline with minimal oversight.
- U.S. citizenship required (export‑controlled information handling).
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Technical Discovery & Solution Design** – Collaborate with account executives to uncover security pain points, compliance needs, and infrastructure constraints.
2. **Customized Demonstrations & Proof‑of‑Concepts** – Design and deliver tailored demos, guide POCs, and articulate technical and business value (e.g., 95 % CVE remediation, 90 % attack‑surface reduction).
3. **Product Expertise & Customer Education** – Present on DevTime Protection Tools, Near‑Zero CVE Images, and Runtime Protection; educate security teams and DevOps on best practices.
4. **Sales Methodology & Deal Progression** – Apply MEDDPICC to qualify opportunities, identify decision makers, and drive deals forward.
5. **Security & Compliance Consulting** – Advise on container security, vulnerability management, and regulatory frameworks (FedRAMP, CMMC, SOC 2, STIG/CIS).
6. **Market Intelligence** – Monitor competitive positioning and provide product feedback from customer interactions.
**Required Skills**
- Deep knowledge of container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker) and multi‑stage build concepts.
- Hands‑on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their security considerations.
- Understanding of container security challenges, vulnerability scanning, and SBOM.
- Structured sales proficiency (MEDDPICC, Command of the Message).
- Ability to manage complex, multi‑technical, high‑stakes sales cycles.
- Strong verbal and written communication for presentations, proposals, and technical documentation.
- Adaptability to fast‑paced, evolving environments; self‑direction and ownership of results.
