Job title: Sr. Field Events Marketing Specialist
Role Summary:
Lead the planning, execution, and analysis of SailPoint-led and third‑party field events in the US East and Canada. Drive demand generation, brand awareness, and pipeline growth through local and regional tradeshows, roundtables, and conferences, while aligning with broader field marketing and GTM objectives.
Expactations:
- Deliver field events on time, within scope and budget.
- Achieve event‑specific KPIs and measurable business outcomes.
- Maintain high satisfaction among internal partners, vendors, and attendees.
- Provide data‑driven insights to optimize future events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive event strategies aligned with field marketing priorities.
- Own a portfolio of SailPoint‑led and third‑party events, ensuring maximum demand generation and brand impact.
- Manage full event lifecycle: ideation, venue and vendor selection, contract negotiation, logistics, on‑site execution, and post‑event evaluation.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Product Marketing, Brand, Communications, and agency partners.
- Drive promotion and attendance through integrated marketing channels.
- Design KPI frameworks, track event outcomes, and present ROI reports.
- Conduct market intelligence on relevant tradeshows, conferences, competitor activity, and regional trends.
- Oversee event budgets, vendor invoices, and purchase requests.
- Uphold brand standards across all event activations.
- Travel as needed (25‑30%) for event coordination.
Required Skills:
- 4+ years field event marketing in technology environment.
- Expertise in planning vendor‑led events, roundtables, and third‑party tradeshows.
- Strong strategic thinking, project management, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Proficiency with marketing automation (Marketo), event platforms (CVENT), CRM (Salesforce), analytics (Tableau), and procurement tools (Coupa).
- Budget and vendor management experience.
- Advanced data analysis and reporting capabilities.
- Adaptability to fast‑paced changes and ambiguity.
- Ability to work independently and cross‑functionally.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- No specific certifications mandatory, but familiarity with event management and marketing analytics tools is required.
