Job Description
**Job Title** Senior Product Support Engineer **Role Summary** Provide proactive and reactive technical support for Yunex Traffic and third‑party products across all business functions. Collaborate with Product Development, Field Services, and external customers to resolve complex issues, drive serviceability improvements, and expand remote support capabilities. Act as a trusted subject‑matter expert, contributing to product development, process optimization, and business growth initiatives. **Expectations** - Deliver timely, effective technical solutions for field and customer issues. - Maintain balanced workload between scheduled support, ad‑hoc incidents, and project deliverables. - Communicate clearly at all organizational levels, prepare detailed reports, and influence decision‑making. - Proactively identify and promote opportunities for new business and service improvements. **Key Responsibilities** - Assist Product Development in testing, rollout, and serviceability of new Traffic and EVCI products. - Provide technical support to Field Services, Sales/Tendering, HSQE, and Project Delivery teams. - Build and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers. - Lead and participate in projects aimed at improving field service efficiency, installation techniques, and maintenance contracts. - Expand remote support operations for the Service Operation Centre and field operatives. - Create complex status reports and documentation using Microsoft Office. - Travel across the UK and occasionally abroad to support site visits and customer engagements. - Identify potential new business opportunities and escalations. - Support HSQE processes, including NHSS accreditation and safety compliance. **Required Skills** - Extensive knowledge of Yunex Traffic systems, networks, and associated third‑party products. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills for complex technical scenarios. - Advanced written and verbal communication; ability to present to diverse audiences. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Project management capabilities: planning, monitoring, and deadline‑driven execution. - Interpersonal skills: negotiation, influence, and relationship building at all levels. - Familiarity with IET regulations and electrical system design. - Self‑directed initiative with ability to prioritize and manage unpredictable workload. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Transportation Engineering, or a related technical field. - Professional certifications in electrical or traffic engineering (e.g., IET, CEAB) preferred. ---
