Job Description
**Job Title:** Lead Security Architect **Role Summary:** Define and drive the organization’s security posture and strategy in alignment with enterprise architecture and technology goals. Partner with technical architects, developers, data scientists, and stakeholders to embed security into solution designs, policies, and transformation initiatives, ensuring robust protection for customers and business operations. **Expectations:** - Minimum 5 + years of software development experience in security domains. - 5 + years as a Security Architect or 3‑5 years as a Lead Security Architect within change/transformation environments. - Proven ability to influence and collaborate across cross‑functional and global teams. - Strong leadership, mentorship, and communication skills. - Customer‑centric mindset and adaptability to fast‑paced settings. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define and evolve multi‑year security posture and strategy. - Assess current controls, identify gaps, and develop improvement roadmaps. - Evangelize security and technology strategies to all stakeholders. - Mentor and support technical architects in secure solution design and review. - Lead solution design for transformational programs, guiding decision‑making. - Ensure “security by design” across new and legacy IT solutions. - Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments, mapping risks to the defined posture. - Collaborate with CISO to create, implement, and govern security policies, standards, and best practices. **Required Skills:** - Expert knowledge of .NET, SQL, Python, and Azure cloud services. - Proficiency with observability and monitoring tools. - Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF). - Experience in system design, governance, and working with on‑shore/off‑shore teams. - Excellent verbal and written communication; stakeholder influence. - Leadership and mentorship capabilities. - Ability to translate security requirements into actionable designs. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Preferred security certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent. - TOGAF certification is a plus.
