**Job Title:** Application Test Manager – Platform Migration (Contract)
**Role Summary:**
Lead the definition, governance, and execution of testing for complex platform migration initiatives in a financial services environment. Ensure application stability, performance, and production readiness through rigorous test strategies, metrics, and stakeholder collaboration.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver comprehensive test strategy and governance for migration projects.
- Coordinate end‑to‑end testing across multiple application domains.
- Provide transparent, data‑driven quality and readiness reports to programme leadership.
- Drive automation and continuous improvement of testing processes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Define and enforce functional, regression, integration, and performance test plans.
- Manage test execution, defect tracking, and resolution using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Lead test teams, allocate resources, and ensure alignment with engineering, release, and programme teams.
- Produce and present quality metrics, risk assessments, and readiness dashboards.
- Oversee test automation frameworks and promote reusable test assets.
- Ensure compliance with test governance standards and audit requirements.
**Required Skills:**
- 10+ years of software testing, QA, or test management experience in financial services or large‑scale tech environments.
- Proven experience leading application migration or modernization programs.
- Deep knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and performance testing methodologies.
- Hands‑on expertise with test governance, automation tools, and defect management (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across engineering, release, and programme teams.
- Ability to produce data‑driven assessments, quality reports, and risk metrics.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., ISTQB Advanced Test Manager, PMP, or equivalent).
