**Job Title**
Talent Payments Administrator
**Role Summary**
Administer end‑to‑end talent payment processing for a major media organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance with HMRC, GDPR, union rules, and internal policies. Manage data integrity in the TalentPay system, resolve stakeholder queries, and support cross‑functional teams to deliver timely payments to talent, agents, and producers.
**Expectations**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Process primary, residual, and royalty payments from setup to final disbursement.
- Prepare, review, and submit contracts and supporting documentation for payment.
- Maintain and update legal, contractual, and personal data per policies and regulations.
- Securely manage confidential information, including banking details.
- Onboard new talent, service companies, agents, and independent producers into TalentPay.
- Resolve payment queries via inbox, helpdesk, or phone; provide first‑line support.
- Perform data cleansing, reconciliation, and accuracy checks in TalentPay.
- Collaborate with People Payments, HR, Finance, and other internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to KPI development, tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide coverage for team members and engage in learning and development.
**Required Skills**
- Strong attention to detail and high‑volume data entry accuracy.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word (or Google Sheets/Docs) proficiency.
- Experience in administrative, payroll, finance, or customer‑service roles involving transaction processing.
- Ability to manage confidential data securely; knowledge of GDPR / data protection.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to explain processes and resolve queries.
- Organizational and prioritization skills; manage competing deadlines effectively.
- Proactive problem‑solving, root‑cause analysis, and improvement suggestion.
- Collaborative teamwork, resilience under pressure, and adaptability to changing demands.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs at A–C including English and Maths (or equivalent).
- No additional formal certifications required, but an interest in payroll, finance, or payments processes is desirable.
