**Job Title** Head of Digital Compliance **Role Summary** Lead the National Digital Compliance function within Justice Digital, overseeing spend assurance, business continuity, audit planning, and operational relationships with the Central Digital & Data Office (CDDO). Drive compliance, resilience, and audit excellence across digital and technology projects. **Expectations** - Deliver comprehensive assurance and audit processes for digital initiatives. - Maintain effective partnership with CDDO and other government stakeholders. - Ensure organisational resilience, continuity, and compliance with government standards. - Lead, mentor, and influence cross‑functional teams, managing competing priorities and dependencies. **Key Responsibilities** - Own and execute spend assurance activities, ensuring all procurements meet CDDO and wider government standards. - Lead the operational relationship with the CDDO, aligning digital spend and compliance. - Drive the continuity and resilience strategy of Justice Digital, identifying and mitigating risks. - Build, manage, and oversee an audit function covering both technical and operational domains. - Strategically plan audit schedules, applying gold‑standard methodologies consistently. - Communicate effectively across organisational, technical, and political boundaries, building trust and credibility. - Resolve issues, unblock roadblocks, and steer teams towards delivery commitments. - Manage dependencies across teams, departments, and government bodies. - Support the digital strategy 2025 and contribute to Justice Digital’s goals. **Required Skills** - Proven experience leading assurance functions in digital/technology contexts. - Expertise in business continuity planning for digital and tech environments. - Strong audit methodology knowledge and experience in strategic audit planning. - Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and persuasion skills. - Problem‑solving, team leadership, and dependency management. - Ability to work both hands‑on and in a leadership capacity, juggling multiple priorities. - Willingness to undergo and meet BPSS clearance requirements. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field. - Professional certifications preferred: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or equivalent credentials.
