Services are delivered from three main hospital sites:
Frimley Park Hospital (Camberley)
Heatherwood Hospital (Ascot)
Wexham Park Hospital (Slough)
Additionally, the Trust delivers outpatient and diagnostic services from Aldershot, Farnham, Fleet, Windsor, Maidenhead and Bracknell bringing a range of services closer to these communities. We are also proud to host the Defence Medical Group South East at Frimley Park with military surgical, medical and nursing personnel working alongside the hospital's NHS staff providing care to patients in all specialties.
We have also made significant investment in our quality improvement and digital programmes to support our vision and we will ensure that we achieve our aim of providing the highest quality healthcare to our patients. Our new EPR – Epic – went live in June 2022 and we are already beginning to reap the benefits of this ambitious investment.

Job Description
Job Title: Security Manager Role Summary: Oversee and manage all security operations across the Trust’s sites, ensuring a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Lead the security team, conduct risk assessments, develop scheduling systems, and produce detailed reports to inform Trust and NHS stakeholders. Deliver services in line with NHS values and policies. Expectations: - Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse security team. - Maintain daily security service operations across all sites. - Assess risks, implement comprehensive safety measures, and continuously improve protocols. - Generate accurate electronic and written reports and present findings to senior Trust and NHS forums. - Uphold NHS values and deliver a high standard of service in a flexible, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: - Manage day‑to‑day operations of the security service across all designated Trust sites. - Conduct risk assessments and implement site‑wide safety measures and processes. - Create and maintain staff rosters, ensuring compliance with Trust policies. - Perform appraisals, manage sickness reporting, and support staff development. - Gather, analyse, and report data electronically and in written form for internal and external audiences. - Coordinate with other departments to uphold NHS values and maintain high service standards. Required Skills: - Strong leadership, motivation, and team‑development abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Prioritisation, organisational and time‑management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines. - Ability to work effectively with staff at all levels. Job Description
**Job title** Staff Nurse (Discharge Lounge) **Role Summary** Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients awaiting discharge, coordinating with the Discharge Team, Site Managers, and external partners to ensure safe, timely, and patient‑centred transition from hospital to home. **Expectations** - Deliver high‑standard, infection‑controlled care with minimal supervision. - Maintain and improve discharge flow, freeing bed capacity for admissions. - Demonstrate professional development, leadership, and adaptability to changing demands. **Key Responsibilities** - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Discharge Lounge. - Manage medication administration and education for patients and families. - Liaise with Site Managers, Discharge Coordinators, Transport, Pharmacy, and referral services. - Contact next of kin and facilitate discharge paperwork. - Check observations when required; provide health education at discharge. - Deploy and supervise staff according to competence; manage team in the team leader’s absence. - Participate in cross‑department work and adapt to flexible shifts, weekends, and bank holidays. **Required Skills** - Registered General Nurse (or pending NMC Registration). - Effective written and verbal communication. - Strong interpersonal skills, including management of difficult or stressful situations. - Prioritisation, time‑management, and delegation. - Leadership and training capability for junior staff. - Ability to manage change and maintain quality standards. - Teamwork and flexibility to work across departments. **Required Education & Certifications** - Current registration as a General Nurse with the NMC (or pending). - Completion of any required induction and ongoing professional development. - Dementia training or study days (desirable). - Experience in caring for elderly or dementia patients and managing chronic conditions (desirable).
