Job title: IT Project Manager (F/M)
Role Summary: Manage end‑to‑end information technology projects, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions, coordinating cross‑functional teams, and delivering projects on time, within scope, and with quality.
Expactations: 5+ years of proven IT project management experience; strong command of project governance, functional analysis, solution design, and delivery; ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, negotiate scope, and communicate with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define business requirements, translate them into detailed functional specifications, and validate with users.
- Collaborate with architects to design technical solutions, estimate costs, and promote component reuse.
- Conduct solution validation, develop test plans, and verify test completion.
- Maintain functional documentation and contribute to system architecture and process improvement.
- Organize project team composition, assign resources, set timelines, and enforce quality standards.
- Lead, motivate, and manage project staff; arbitrate within competency scope and prepare escalation for decision bodies.
- Define and negotiate project scope, manage changes, consolidate and validate cost/benefit estimations.
- Plan, monitor, and report project progress to senior management and steering committees.
- Facilitate meetings, steering group presentations, and ensure transparent communication with business partners.
- Perform any additional task requested by management that aligns with role responsibilities.
Required Skills:
- Project management methodologies (PMBOK, Prince2, Agile), project tools (MS Project, JIRA, Confluence).
- Software development lifecycle: analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Understanding of insurance domain (underwriting, claims, policy administration) is a plus.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies, IT architecture, and data/process modeling.
- Advanced meeting facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder negotiation skills.
- Strong communication, listening, problem anticipation, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Team leadership, motivation, training needs assessment, and delivery performance evaluation.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Prince2, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
- Continuous professional development in IT project management and related technical domains.
