Job Description
Job Title: Technical Business Analyst Role Summary: Bridge business and technology teams to design, document, and deliver solutions that drive strategic improvements. Lead requirements gathering, process modelling, and technical specification for both operational and complex projects within an Agile environment. Expectations: - Provide accurate, comprehensive documentation for UAT and post‑implementation support. - Translate business needs into technical requirements and guide stakeholders toward optimal solutions. - Work independently on technical projects, consulting senior staff only for highly complex issues. - Use data analysis (SQL, Excel) to underpin business decisions and assess integration opportunities. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct “As‑Is” and “To‑Be” process modelling with a technical focus. - Create high‑level technical specifications, including system architecture, data flows, integration points, and configuration settings. - Participate in Agile ceremonies, liaise with development teams to shape solution implementation. - Review current processes, analyse data, and recommend improvements or automation opportunities (APIs, integration). - Challenge and refine technical approaches to ensure alignment with business objectives and best practices. Required Skills: - Strong analytical and documentation skills (UAT, technical spec, process diagrams). - Proficiency with SQL and Excel for data analysis. - Familiarity with system integrations, APIs, and automation concepts. - Excellent stakeholder communication (technical and non‑technical). - Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent. - Agile or Scrum certification (Certified Scrum Master or Agile Practitioner preferred). - Experience in a financial services environment is advantageous.
