Freelance Senior Marketing & Communications Strategist
**Role Summary**
Lead the development and execution of marketing and communications strategies for the Retail Individuals segment in a financial services organization. Drive alignment with senior stakeholders, convert market insights into concrete projects, and ensure measurable impact across daily banking, lending, and protection products.
**Expectations**

- Translate strategic insights into concrete, measurable projects and deliver on defined KPIs.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitor and analyze trends in marketing, communications, technology, and competition relevant to Retail Individuals.
- Translate insights into strategic opportunities and priorities.
- Co‑develop the Retail Individuals cluster strategy (Daily Banking, Lending, Protection) with the Cluster Lead, setting objectives and KPIs.
- Align cluster strategy with the organization’s global marketing strategy.
- Identify new marketing and communication opportunities that support long‑term goals.
- Oversee strategy execution, report progress to senior management, and adjust tactics as needed.
- Convert high‑level strategic opportunities into mature, actionable projects.
- Contribute to multi‑year and annual planning, ensuring delivery of key results.
- Communicate strategy and priorities across teams (strategy, sales, tribes) with clarity and influence.
- Inspire and support teams on marketing & communications topics, fostering innovation and collaboration.
- Represent Marketing & Communications in strategic, cross‑functional initiatives.

- Advanced MS Office proficiency.

- Knowledge of Retail Individuals products (Daily Banking, Lending, Protection) is a plus.
- Fluency in Dutch, French, and English (written & spoken).

- Leadership qualities and motivation for team building.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Strategy, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in marketing and communications strategy.
