Forward Deployed Engineer
Role Summary
Senior customer‑facing technical delivery specialist who drives end‑to‑end success for enterprise clients. Owns the entire lifecycle from pre‑sales discovery, through AI‑powered localization workflow design, deployment, integration, and post‑sale adoption, ensuring measurable outcomes and expanding business value.
Expectations
- Act as the primary technical advisor for large accounts, delivering value‑driven solutions.
- Own the technical backlog, timelines, and risk mitigation for each engagement.
- Demonstrate measurable impact on multilingual content quality, speed, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate across Sales, CX, Product, and Engineering to align on strategy and roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre‑sales discovery to capture workflow, system, and success criteria.
- Translate business requirements into a clear technical solution plan, including demos and migration paths.
- Design, build, and iterate AI‑powered workflows (prompts, agents, configs) that improve translation quality and speed.
- Configure and integrate platform APIs with enterprise systems (CMS, DAM, PIM, commerce, AEM, Drupal, SFCC).
- Lead go‑live planning, validation, testing, and documentation to ensure stable, scalable solutions.
- Provide post‑deployment support, enablement, and adoption activities to drive expansion.
- Capture customer insights and relay to product teams to influence roadmap.
Required Skills
- Strong technical fluency in AI/ML concepts, especially NLP/translation.
- Proven experience with enterprise SaaS integrations (REST/SOAP, connectors, middleware).
- Hands‑on programming or scripting (Python, JavaScript, Shell).
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration and automation tools.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Problem‑solving mindset with ability to troubleshoot complex integrations.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications in AI/ML, cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure) or SaaS integration tools are a plus.
