Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior UI Developer with deep expertise in React.js and modern front-end technologies to join our team in Weehawken, NJ. The ideal candidate will lead UI development efforts, deliver high-performance and responsive web applications, and collaborate closely with design, backend, and business teams in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain advanced, scalable, and reusable React.js components
Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality code
Optimize components for maximum performance across a range of devices and browsers
Integrate RESTful APIs and work closely with backend teams
Collaborate with product owners, designers, and developers to implement new features
Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and responsive design standards
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of experience in front-end/UI development
5+ years of hands-on experience with React.js, Redux, Hooks, and Context API
Strong skills in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS
Experience with TypeScript is highly preferred
Familiarity with Webpack, Babel, and other front-end build tools
Knowledge of RESTful APIs, Git, Jira, and Agile methodologies
Understanding of unit testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library
Experience in enterprise applications or financial services is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Nice to Have
Experience with Next.js, GraphQL, or Micro-Frontend Architecture
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
Work Arrangement
Hybrid work model: 3 days onsite in Weehawken, NJ
Must be local or willing to relocate
