We are looking for a Senior Cloud Network Automation Engineer (SME) with a strong background in network engineering and automation across Azure and GCP environments. The ideal candidate will have experience managing network infrastructure as code using GitHub, developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, and hands-on expertise in designing and building secure, scalable cloud networks.

What You'll Do
Design, develop, and automate cloud network infrastructure in Azure and GCP.
Manage network infrastructure modules in GitHub using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for network deployment and validation using GitHub Actions.
Lead automation efforts for the provisioning, configuration, and management of virtual networks, firewalls, gateways, and routing.
Ensure secure and scalable connectivity across cloud and hybrid environments.
Collaborate with cloud architects, security teams, and DevOps engineers to implement robust network automation solutions.
Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide SME-level guidance to cross-functional teams.
Maintain up-to-date documentation of automated workflows and network topologies.
Required
What You Know:
7+ years of experience in network engineering and cloud networking.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure and GCP networking components (VNETs, VPCs, subnets, firewalls, NAT, routing, etc.).
Proficient in network automation using Terraform, Python, or similar tools.
Solid experience managing network IaC modules in GitHub.
Expertise in creating and managing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
In-depth understanding of network protocols, routing (BGP, OSPF), firewall policies, and DNS.
Experience with cloud security best practices in networking.
Preferred
Certifications such as Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer, Azure Network Engineer Associate, or equivalent.
Experience with cross-cloud network connectivity and hybrid networking.
Familiarity with tools like Ansible, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps (in addition to GitHub Actions).
Exposure to SD-WAN, SASE, or zero-trust networking models.
