Location: Hybrid (1x/month in Leeds)
Duration:6 months
Rate: PS500/day Inside IR35

We're seeking an experienced Product Owner with strong Business Analyst experience. You'll play a key role in shaping and delivering user-centred digital products that improve services across the NHS.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring priorities align with strategic goals and user needs
Define product vision and roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders and delivery teams
Translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria
Act as a key liaison between technical teams, stakeholders, and users
Conduct stakeholder workshops, discovery sessions, and process mapping
Support agile ceremonies and ensure the team has clear goals and requirements
Monitor product performance, iterate based on user feedback and data
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as a Product Owner, ideally in agile, cross-functional teams
Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience as a Business Analyst
Demonstrable experience working within the NHS, central government, or wider public sector - essential
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels
A user-focused mindset with a passion for creating accessible, inclusive services
Familiarity with GDS standards and agile delivery in government settings is highly desirable
Desirable:
Experience with service design and user research
Certification in Product Ownership or Agile methodologies (eg PSPO, SAFe, Scrum.org)
Exposure to digital transformation projects in complex organisations
