Service Assurance Manager
PS575 per day | Inside IR35 | 2 days per week onsite in Cambridge
One of worlds most recognised technology businesses are looking for an experienced Service Assurance Manager to govern and evolve their Service Assurance processes. This is a key role within the Value Delivery Office, focused on ensuring new or changing services are designed, assured and transitioned effectively into live operation.
You will lead service governance activities, support project delivery teams, and define readiness criteria that align with high operational standards. The work spans process design, assurance board leadership, continual improvement, and hands-on support for service introduction.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the design and governance of service assurance and transition processes
Maintaining assurance criteria, process documentation and training materials
Chairing the weekly Service Assurance Board and running drop-in sessions
Supporting project managers and delivery teams with transition planning
Ensuring services meet production readiness standards
Advising on Early Life Support and embedding continual improvement practices
Analysing process performance and driving improvements
The ideal profile:
10+ years in ITSM with a strong focus on service transition, governance or assurance
Proven success leading ITSM practices in complex or large-scale environments
Familiar with IT infrastructure, applications, and the service development lifecycle
ITIL 4 Managing Professional or Strategic Leader certification preferred
Strong communicator with excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
This is a six-month contract offering a day rate of PS575. Two days per week in Cambridge are required.
