Overview of Role
We're looking for a driven, hungry-to-learn Junior Data Analyst to join our small, fast-moving team. You thrive in ambiguity, love asking good questions, and aren't afraid to chase down messy data to find real insights. You're excited to grow your skills, contribute from day one, and help teams across the company make smarter decisions with data.
What You'll Do
Write and optimize SQL queries to pull, explore, and analyze data from our core databases
Support product, marketing, and operations with data-driven insights and quick-turn analysis
Clean and transform messy datasets in Excel or Sheets to answer real-world business questions
Help evaluate experiments and summarize results for stakeholders
Dig into PostHog or other product analytics tools to track feature performance and user behavior
Build lightweight dashboards or recurring reports that make insights visible and actionable
What We're Looking For
Intermediate SQL skills--you can join tables, write CTEs, and explore data independently
Comfort in Excel or Google Sheets--pivot tables, lookups, basic data wrangling
Curiosity and business sense--you ask good questions and want to understand the "why" behind the numbers
Bias toward action--you're resourceful, self-directed, and excited to figure things out
(Bonus) Familiarity with R or Python for basic statistics and test evaluation
(Bonus) Experience with PostHog or another analytics tool for tracking user behavior
Candidate must be located in the Chicago area and willing to commute and work in-person at our Glencoe office with our Chicago team a couple of days per week.

Compensation
$75-90k base salary + meaningful equity
