What We're Doing
Sola is building an agentic automation platform to support the enterprises of tomorrow. In order to deliver the experience we want, we've reimagined enterprise process automation to effortlessly and safely apply foundation AI models at scale across web and desktop interfaces.
Some topics we've gone deep on include AI-enabled error correction algorithms, Markov Decision Models using AI inputs, agentic workflow orchestrators, AI desktop infrastructure, and more.
In just one year, Sola has been adopted by Fortune 500 companies, top U.S. law firms, and some of the largest private enterprises across industries like finance, healthcare, legal, and supply chain.
Our team is based in NYC and includes industry leaders who have built and scaled businesses, contributed to the largest quantitative funds, crypto projects, and research labs, and have been founders themselves. We've raised our Series A from a Tier-1 VC and Conviction, with additional backing from the founders and CEOs of Dropbox, Zoom, Zapier, Scale, and more.

Who We Are
Sola was founded in 2023 by Jessica Wu and Neil Deshmukh, who were previously at MIT and have experienced firsthand the RPA pain point within their previous experiences in finance and healthcare (prev. at IBM-Watson, MGH, BWH, Citadel Securities, Goldentree AM), and have extensive research experience in relevant areas (published in NeurIps/IEEE for research on multimodal models, computer vision, and robotics).
We've most recently raised a Series A from a Tier-1 VC and Conviction, with additional backing from Y Combinator (S23 batch) and the founders and CEOs of Dropbox, Zoom, Zapier, Scale, and more.
What You'll Be Doing
As a senior fullstack engineer, you will:
Take ownership of the entire lifecycle of a feature, from customer request, to ideation, to code in production
Be expected to exercise good judgment on tradeoffs across frontend and backend when making tough design decisions
Build fast and reliable client-side features to record and create workflow automations
Integrate with our backend API to run and monitor workflow automations
Partner closely with product design to craft a delightful and intuitive user experience
Qualifications
We are looking for applicants with these skills:
Experience working in Typescript, Python, and React - all 3 are required
4+ years of experience writing high-quality production code with robust monitoring and reporting
Prior experience working at a Seed or Series A startup
Has worked previously on client side technologies and platforms
Experience communicating and collaborating regularly with designers PMs, engineers, and customers to plan features and break down high level goals into tasks and timelines
Must be available in NYC
