Chamberlain Advisors is supporting a client seeking a Slack Administrator to lead the deployment and administration of Slack as a new collaboration platform. This contractor will play a key role in ensuring Slack is launched in alignment with organizational security, scalability, and integration requirements. What You Will Be Accountable For

Configure and deploy Slack in accordance with organizational policies and industry best practices.
Set up and manage workspaces, channels, user roles, and permissions.
Integrate Slack with existing enterprise systems, tools, and identity providers (e.g., SSO, SCIM).
Implement and enforce security protocols, usage policies, and compliance standards.
Monitor usage metrics, performance, and system health to ensure optimal functionality.
Automate repetitive administrative tasks using Slack workflows and approved integrations.
Partner with IT and Security teams to establish governance, onboarding, and support models.
Provide guidance and documentation for end-user adoption and training initiatives.

What Qualifications You Need

3+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS platform administration, with at least 1+ years specifically administering Slack.
Proven experience with Slack workspace setup, user provisioning, access control, and policy configuration.
Familiarity with Slack integrations, APIs, and workflow automation.
Understanding of enterprise security concepts related to collaboration tools (e.g., DLP, compliance logging).
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Slack usage and integrations.
Strong documentation skills and ability to translate technical processes into user-friendly content.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience integrating Slack with identity providers and security tools.
Familiarity with scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Workato).
Experience supporting enterprise-level technology rollouts.
Comfortable working in a hybrid or cross-functional team environment.
