Senior Cloud Engineer - Perm - Fully Remote
Salary: PS60,000 - PS65,000 pa
Fully remote (Must live in the UK)
Must be eligible for SC clearance
We're looking for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and help design, build and optimise secure cloud solutions across AWS and Azure. You'll be a key part of a forward-thinking team, working closely with architects and developers to deliver infrastructure that enables agility and innovation.
Senior Cloud Engineer Responsibilities:
Designing and deploying secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure.
Implementing Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, and CloudFormation.
Building automation into infrastructure delivery with CI/CD pipelines.
Applying cloud security best practices including encryption, RBAC, and compliance controls.
Monitoring and optimising cloud environments using tools like Azure Monitor, CloudWatch and Grafana.
Supporting incident response and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Senior Cloud Engineer Skills Required:
Proven hands-on experience with both AWS and Azure cloud services.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation).
Solid experience with automation tools such as Ansible or GitHub Actions.
Strong understanding of Windows and Linux system administration.
Familiarity with cloud security, governance, and compliance frameworks.
Scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
It would be great if you had:
Certifications in AWS or Azure, such as AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator.
Experience with Kubernetes (AKS or EKS) and CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
Familiarity with cloud cost management tools and Zero Trust principles.
