Job Specifications
We are seeking a seasoned Solution Architect - Retail to lead complex digital transformation programs across global retail landscapes. You will design and deliver scalable, modern solutions across eCommerce, in-store, supply chain, and backend platforms. This role requires strong cloud architecture expertise, data-driven thinking, and a deep understanding of retail systems including merchandising, POS, PIM, and customer engagement platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the architecture and delivery of end-to-end solutions across e-commerce, retail operations, and omnichannel systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer experience.
Architect modern, scalable solutions on multi - Cloud Platforms, leveraging serverless infrastructure, data warehousing, and application modernization practices.
Deliver multi-country, multi-currency POS and OMS solutions, integrating new and legacy systems to support international expansion and seamless customer journeys.
Implement PIM systems to support merchandising and product enrichment strategies, ensuring data consistency across selling channels.
Design and deploy Customer 360 platforms, integrating data from multiple sources to deliver unified customer experiences and enable personalization.
Implement API-led integration strategies using MuleSoft, replacing point-to-point legacy connections to create reusable, secure, and scalable APIs.
Lead enterprise data initiatives, including data lakes, real-time ETL pipelines, and BI platforms using tools like BigQuery and Looker.
Guide the deployment of SaaS WMS platforms (e.g., Manhattan Scale) to streamline warehouse and fulfilment operations.
Mentor cross-functional engineering and delivery teams; provide architectural leadership and promote best practices across projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Hands-on experience delivering impactful IT architecture solutions across global retail, eCommerce, and omnichannel environments.
Demonstrated expertise in architecting complex retail ecosystems, including merchandising, order management, POS, CRM, and supply chain systems.
Proven ability to lead and mentor cross-functional engineering teams, driving delivery excellence in fast-paced environments.
Strong cloud architecture knowledge (AWS and GCP), with hands-on experience in serverless technologies, API design, and infrastructure modernization.
Deep understanding of enterprise data architecture, including data warehousing, analytics, and real-time integrations.
Hands-on experience with PIM systems, retail merchandising platforms, and unified commerce architectures.
Experience in designing solutions that support global rollout--multi-region, multi-currency, and multi-entity implementations.
Solid grounding in Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD delivery frameworks.
