About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on SQL Server Support Engineer to join the After Sales project team. Your mission? Keep the database environment running smoothly, tackle incidents head-on, and deliver small-scale developments based on user needs. You'll work closely with business users and IT teams to resolve issues, optimize performance, and improve data flows.

What You'll Do

Troubleshoot and resolve user incidents (e.g. data quality, performance, system errors)
Coordinate with other IT teams (e.g. network, cybersecurity) when needed
Build and maintain SSIS packages and other ETL processes
Implement small-scale developments based on business requirements
Optimize SQL databases for speed, scalability, and reliability
Support SQL and SSAS migrations
Document and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

What You Bring

3-5 years of experience in an IT support or data engineering role

Strong hands-on knowledge of:

SQL Server (views, functions, procedures, jobs)
SSIS (packages, variables, ETL flows)
SSAS and DAX
SQL Server sysadmin tasks
GitHub for version control
Analytical mindset with the ability to explain technical issues in plain language
Proactive communicator who can support explanations with diagrams or visual aids
A Bachelor's degree is a plus, but skills and motivation matter most
