The Role

We are seeking a skilled Automation Developer with strong experience in building and maintaining n8n workflows and API integrations. You will play a key role in automating business processes by designing, developing, and deploying efficient workflows that connect multiple systems and services--including OpenAI/ChatGPT, Google Slides, and other APIs.

Key Responsibilities

Integrate third-party APIs and internal services via REST, GraphQL, or other protocols.
Write custom JavaScript code within n8n Function nodes to handle complex data processing.
Troubleshoot and optimize existing workflows for performance and reliability.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand automation needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Ensure secure handling of API keys, tokens, and sensitive data within workflows.
Document workflows and maintain best practices for versioning and deployment.

Stay current with the latest automation and integration tools and trends.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience developing automation workflows with n8n or similar platforms (Zapier, Make, Integromat).
Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, authentication (OAuth2, API keys), and API request/response handling.
Proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js) for scripting within workflow environments.
Experience with JSON data manipulation and transformation.
Familiarity with integrating AI APIs such as OpenAI (ChatGPT, DALL*E) is a strong plus.
Comfortable working with cloud services (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure) and APIs like Google Slides, Google Drive, or similar.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex workflows.
Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a remote team.

Desirable Experience

Experience deploying and managing n8n in production environments.
Knowledge of webhook design and event-driven architectures.
Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Basic understanding of data privacy and security best practices.
