Job Specifications

We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join a Capital Markets team focused on building scalable, modern applications and integrating GitHub workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with React and Node.js, and a solid understanding of backend technologies including .NET and C#. This role requires on-site presence 4 days per week in either Toronto or Halifax, no negotiables.

Must Have:

5+ years of development experience with React*, Redux, RxJS, and Node.js* for building scalable server-side APIs and modern applications
.NET Core, MVC, Webforms, and Web Services *not AS important as react and node
Hands-on experience designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting RESTful APIs and interface specifications (e.g., Swagger)
Strong knowledge of relational databases (MS SQL Server 2012-2016) and ability to design schemas aligned with technical requirements
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have:

Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence
Familiarity with Messaging Queue systems like Solace
Experience with Cloud technologies and containerized deployment (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)
Exposure to microservices architecture and API management
Experience building and deploying applications in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP)
Experience with C# or angular
