Rate: PS350 to PS400 per day inside IR35 - via an umbrella company
Location: London
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Department: London IT
Hybrid: 2 to 3 days in office.
Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Mon- Fri
Role
The Business Intelligence team is responsible for providing information and recommendations to the advertising sales business which support and help challenge its commercial activities. This is achieved through the provision and analysis of data, as well as through regular communication with key stakeholders both within our client and the external market.
Reporting to the Business Intelligence Manager, we are seeking a commercially focused and analytically driven Business Intelligence Analyst. This role will play a critical part in providing strategic insight and influencing commercial decisions through the analysis of sales performance, market trends, and financial data.
You'll work closely with Sales, Strategy, Marketing, Product, Operations and Finance teams, delivering high-quality reporting, analysis, and market intelligence and supporting various commercial strategy projects. This role requires a high degree of autonomy and problem-solving skills, sound commercial judgment, and the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.

Core Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Reporting: Producing and maintain regular reporting on advertising revenue, sales performance, and key financial metrics to support forecasting, pacing, and commercial decision-making.
Sales Pipeline Management: Monitoring the CRM (Salesforce) and ensuring proper usage and accurate reporting across the sales team.
Data Quality & Reporting accuracy: Ensure Pipeline and Revenue reporting accuracy by implementing data quality reports, working with cross-functional teams to ensure data is up-to-date and consistent across systems.
Market Intelligence: Support sales in their prospection efforts by producing intelligence briefs for specific brands/advertisers or more macro-level reports on key industries.
Benchmarking: Conduct market research and leverage external tools to produce benchmarks on our pricing, product and campaign performance.
Business Dashboard Monitoring: Oversee the accuracy and integrity of business intelligence dashboards. Identify opportunities to improve usability, automation, and alignment with business needs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across Sales, Strategy, Finance, and Operations to support ongoing reporting needs, strategic projects, and ad hoc analysis requests
Finance support: Working with our partners to ensure payments are made promptly and for the correct amount
Essential Skills
Proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or commercial reporting role, ideally within a media, digital, or advertising environment.
Strong grasp of sales and financial reporting, with the ability to interpret commercial performance data and deliver meaningful insights.
Ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong technical skills and proficiency in Excel and Tableau (data manipulation and visualisation)
Able to collaborate and build relationships with the immediate team and with colleagues in wider teams such as Sales, Operations and Finance
Organised, detail-oriented with proven rigour towards data quality.
Attention to detail and sense checking insights or analysis produced
Comfortable and confident communicating insights to relevant stakeholders
Ability to navigate complex reporting systems
Essential experience
Experience in a business analysis, business intelligence or data analytics role
Graduate or equivalent qualification required
IT skills including PowerPoint, Word, Google sheets and Teams
Preferred experience
Experience in management reporting, automation and business forecasting
Familiarity with CRM software (preferably Salesforce)
Experience with data transformation processes using software or code e.g. Alteryx, SQL
Familiarity with the media and advertising industry, especially digital marketing
Exposure to performance analytics tools, e.g. Google Ad Manager
