About The Role

We have reorganised our teams to deliver a greater focus and ownership of the flow of information around the business. This has resulted in the creation of a dedicated BI team, who are responsible for all aspects of reporting and performance insight. This position will require you to come into the office around once a week - You may work from London or Manchester.

This role will have responsibility for understanding and delivering on reporting needs for the Commercial side of our business. You will have the opportunity to build a detailed understanding of our data sources and reporting tools. You will be creating accurate, impactful and visually effective reporting output, to support our business growth. You will have support from a team of dedicated and experienced colleagues to help you develop your technical skills. You'll develop an instinctive understanding of our business and the opportunity to inform your colleagues on the latest trends.

There will also be opportunities to develop professional skills and learn about areas of our business that are of interest to you.

You Will Be Responsible For (not Limited To)

Understanding our data sources and how to use them
Building quality reporting outputs and informing your customers on their value
Seeking opportunities to simplify our business and leverage efficiencies in our reporting
Knowing when, and how, to say no to make sure you deliver on our priorities
Continuous improvement of you technical skills to maximise efficiency and output
Leveraging our infrastructure to improve the flow of information around the business

About You

We're looking for an inquisitive and logical analyst with some experience of structuring data and building insightful reporting. A knowledge of our analytics tool set or Financial Services would be advantageous.

The successful candidate must have the right to work in the UK and meet the following criteria:

Required Skills & Experience

Experience in delivering Data, Reporting or Analytics from a complex data environment
Interpreting a business scope to develop new reporting
Some knowledge of Analytics tools (e.g. SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, Excel, Python, Snowflake or Other)
A track record of fast development and learning

Desired

Experience in Financial Services, especially Credit Card Lending, would be an advantage
Interest in technology and innovation
Analysis or accounting qualification
