Job Description:
On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is looking for a skilled Data Architect Specialist to design and oversee a robust data system for a public health organization in Canada. This role is critical for managing increasing data volumes, ensuring timely access for clinical decision-making, and supporting advanced analytics initiatives. The successful candidate will lead the lifecycle management of data structures, ensuring integration, security, and integrity across enterprise systems, while addressing strategic business and process challenges.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee the lifecycle of all data structures, ensuring scalability, performance, and integration with enterprise information systems.
* Design and implement data architectures to support timely data access in clinical settings.
* Facilitate advanced analytics, including predictive modeling, AI, ML, and business intelligence reporting.
* Ensure data integrity, reliability, and security across operational, financial, and clinical domains.
* Address strategic business, data, and process challenges at an enterprise level.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to align data solutions with organizational needs and decision-making processes.
* Develop and maintain documentation for data architectures and integration strategies.
Qualifications:
* Education:
o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
* Experience:
o Minimum of 7-10 years in data architecture, with a focus on enterprise-level systems.
o Proven expertise in designing scalable data systems for healthcare or public sector environments.
o Experience with data integration, security protocols, and performance optimization.
o Familiarity with advanced analytics tools (e.g., AI, ML, BI platforms).
* Competencies:
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities.
o Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards in healthcare settings.
